Day 1 - BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI - GANGTOK PICKUP & TRANSFER

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be greeted by our driver who will assist you with the transfer to Gangtok. The journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, offering scenic views of the Teesta River and lush green hills. Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and take the rest of the day to relax and acclimatize. In the evening, you may choose to explore MG Marg, the bustling heart of the city, where you can enjoy local food and shopping. *Dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.*

Day 2 - GANGTOK - LACHEN TRANSFER

After having breakfast, the journey from Gangtok to Lachen begins, covering approximately 120 km in around 6-7 hours by road. The scenic drive takes you through winding mountain roads, lush green valleys, and picturesque landscapes of North Sikkim. On the way visit Seven Sister’s waterfall,Bhim Naga Falls , Chungthan Confluence ,Road conditions are Generally good but can be rough in some stretches due to landslides or weather conditions.Arrival by late afternoon or early evening.Upon reaching Lachen, check into a hotel, rest, and prepare for the next day’s early morning journey to Gurudongmar Lake .

Day 3 - LACHEN - LACHUNG TRANSFER VIA GURUDONGMAR LAKE

The day begins with an early breakfast in Lachen, as the trip to Gurudongmar Lake requires an early start to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey.Located at an altitude of approximately 17,800 feet, Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world. The distance from Lachen to the lake is about 67 km, taking around 3-4 hours due to the challenging terrain and high- altitude conditions.After soaking in the beauty of Gurudongmar Lake, the journey back to Lachen begins. Upon arrival, a well- deserved lunch is served at the hotel, allowing travelers to rest before continuing toward Lachung. The drive from Lachen to Lachung covers a distance of approximately 47 km and takes about 2-3 hours.

Day 4 - YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION

After breakfast, proceed for a scenic excursion to Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the “Valley of Flowers” and one of North Sikkim’s most beautiful destinations. Enjoy the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, snow-capped peaks, lush green meadows, and the picturesque Teesta River flowing through the valley. During the spring season, the valley comes alive with colourful alpine flowers, while winter offers stunning snow-covered views. Spend some time exploring the valley, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and capturing memorable photographs. You may also experience the natural hot springs in the region, subject to accessibility and local conditions. After completing the sightseeing, begin your return journey towards Lachung. On arrival, relax at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Lachung. 

Day 5 - LACHUNG TO GANGTOK TRANSFER

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Lachung and begin your scenic drive back to Gangtok. Travel through the breathtaking landscapes of North Sikkim, passing snow-fed rivers, lush valleys, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls. En route, pause at beautiful viewpoints to admire the Himalayan scenery and capture memorable photographs. As you descend toward Gangtok, enjoy views of charming villages and the majestic Teesta River. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the long drive. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring vibrant surroundings or strolling along MG Marg before your overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 6 - GANGTOK - BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI DROP

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed toward New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport  (IXB) for your onward journey. Enjoy a comfortable drive through scenic Himalayan foothills, passing lush green valleys, charming villages, and the Teesta River. Take in final views of Sikkim’s breathtaking landscapes as you descend into West Bengal. Arrive at NJP or IXB in time for your train or flight, reflecting on wonderful holiday memories. Bid farewell to the enchanting mountains, serene monasteries, and picturesque vistas, completing your memorable Himalayan getaway with safe and pleasant travels ahead.
